I’m sure I’m not alone in saying there have been plenty of days this year where I’ve stayed in my pajamas until early afternoon. Or late afternoon. Or sometimes all day. :) And that’s fine. If we can’t go out, at least we can be comfortable, right? But after a few days it feels good to get into something that makes us feel a little more elevated. But, of course, still stay comfortable. The good news is it’s really not incredibly hard to dress up loungewear. A blazer over matching sweats is chic, with Chelsea boots or sneakers, or socks and Birks (outfit inspo below). The idea is to make sure it looks intentional and, more importantly, that the sweats look nice and are not tattered and dirty (cool vintage pieces aside). A matching set or monochrome look will help look more put together. You can also mix-and-match: wear an oversized button down shirt with sweatpants, add a cardigan and some simple jewelry - keep it cozy, but still cute, so if you decide to run out to the store you don’t have to change. Lastly, tons of loungewear brands are cool enough on their own: think Adidas, Nike, and any major designer now making leisurewear. Really, just add a chunky chain necklace and you’re done!
